Kampwa started as three friends, one broken van and a canvas tent. Today it's Europe's most loved alternative to hotels: fully serviced wild camps with real beds, hot showers, fast wifi if you want it — and silence if you don't.
No concrete. No fences. No animation team. Just curated nature, thoughtful design, local food and guides who know every trail, mushroom spot and sunrise point within 20 km.

Cook with a fire chef, bake in earth oven, climb via ferrata, sleep in heated tipi under peaks.

Wild Family Village
Kids track animals, build rafts, adults do yoga & hammock naps. One big communal table every evening.

Forget thin mats and cold backs. Our sleep system was tested at -8°C: cotton canvas, 18cm mattress, merino duvet, hot water bottle. Plus compost shower with view, power bank station, reading light and dry bag.

Good questions
Do I need experience or gear?
No. 70% of our guests never camped before. Tent, mattress, duvet, towel, headlamp, rain poncho — all included. You need only personal clothes and boots. Full packing list sent after booking.
What about toilets, showers, electricity?
Compost dry toilets cleaned 3x daily, hot gas showers with forest view, solar charging station + power banks in each tent. Starlink wifi in lounge tent, but main meadow is phone-free.
What if it rains?
We love rain. Canvas tents are waterproof, lounge tipi has stove, program shifts to sauna, cooking masterclass, storytelling. Only storm warning moves dates — free rebooking.
Can I come with kids or dog?
Kids 6+ welcome in Family Village, 12+ in all camps. Dogs allowed in private tipi format on request — fenced meadow, river nearby.
Food — I'm vegetarian / allergic?
Fire menu is 60% plant-based by default. Tell us allergies in form — chef adapts. Gluten-free, lactose-free always available.
How do I get there?
We pick up from nearest train/bus station. Coordinates sent 48h before (to keep spots wild). Parking + guarded storage for cars and bikes.
